Plain-language summary: Your notes, checklist items, journal entries, tags, collections, moods, colors, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Mireva Notes does not upload this content to our servers and does not require an account.

1. Information handled by the app

• Note content and preferences: Notes, checklist items, journal entries, tags, collections, moods, colors, templates you use, and app preferences are stored locally in app storage. Removing the app or clearing its storage may permanently remove this information.
• Backups and sharing: Exported backups are created only when you request them and are sent to a location or app you choose through Android. Import reads only the backup file you select. Sharing a note sends its text only to the Android share destination you choose. We do not receive copies of exported, imported, or shared note content.
• Device authentication: If you enable app lock, Android performs the available biometric, PIN, pattern, or password check. Mireva Notes receives only whether authentication succeeded; it does not access or store biometric templates, PINs, patterns, or passwords.
• Advertising data: The free version uses Google Mobile Ads. Google may process device or advertising identifiers, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and app-usage data to provide, measure, secure, and personalize ads where consent permits.
• Consent choices: Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) handles privacy and advertising choices required in applicable regions, including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and supported U.S. states.
• Purchases: Google Play processes payments. Purchase product IDs and purchase tokens are sent to our secure verification service only to validate and restore premium access. We do not receive complete payment-card details.

2. Permissions and device features

Mireva Notes may use Android device authentication when you enable app lock, the system file picker for backup import/export, and the system share sheet when you choose to share a note. These actions occur only after your request.

3. Third-party services

Mireva Notes uses the following services:

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google User Messaging Platform
• Google Play Billing
• Our purchase-verification service, used only to validate Google Play purchase tokens

Their processing is governed by their own privacy terms and applicable law.

4. Advertising and choices

Ads are shown only when allowed by the available consent state and when Mireva Plus or rewarded ad-free time is not active. The note editor itself is ad-free. Where Google requires a privacy-options entry point, it is available from Mireva Notes settings. You can also change advertising controls in your Android and Google account settings.

5. Retention and deletion

Active, archived, and trashed notes remain in local app storage until you delete them, empty trash, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Mireva Notes has no account and stores no copy of your notes on our servers, so we cannot recover or remotely delete local notes for you. Purchase-verification records may be retained as needed for security, fraud prevention, entitlement restoration, legal compliance, and dispute handling.

6. Security

Purchase entitlements are granted only after server verification. Optional app lock uses Android device authentication as an additional local privacy control. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so protect access to your device, keep Android security updates current, and retain your own exported backups if needed.

7. Children's privacy

Mireva Notes is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect note content or account information from children.

8. Policy changes

We may update this policy when the app, legal requirements, or service providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
